‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍Welcome to my Religious Education Part 2 - Portfolio ‍‍‍‍‍

My name is Alison Bogle and I am a teacher with the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board. I am currently on a leave from my position as a Grade 4 teacher and one of the goals of my faith journey this year is to enrich my understanding of my Catholic beliefs.

Living in right relationship with God means my entire lifestyle and thought patterns need to also revolve around how I am living the life that Jesus asks me to. It is much "easier said - than done" ! And if I wish to be a positive and authentic role model for my student community - and more importantly to ensure that others can see the light of Christ in my actions and my words - I need to go deeper. I need to make real efforts to connect everything I do to the Catholic Themes. To keep the Catholic Graduate Expectations at the front of a "backward plan". I need to let my spiritual life flow and spill over into my day to day life.

High expectations...yes. But, I have a huge responsibility as a Catholic teacher. I have a huge responsibility to my family and to myself when I consider my covenant with the Father. I hope this portfolio provides evidence of some of the growth that I have experienced. I hope that it will also aid me

I initiated the project to create a student designed school flag. The image is the final result. Our flag is in honour of Blessed Mother Teresa.
